French luxury brand launches shampoo range with pricing up to $230.00 per product "Brazil is one of the countries where our sales grow the most," according to Sisley President for the Americas, Arnaud Naintré. The French luxury brand of cosmetics launched a line of six products for hair – with values ranging from R$ 300.00 (about US$78,00) to R$ 890.00 (about US$234,00). Even though little is known in the country, sales have grown more than 15% annually for 12 years and it is expected that, with the new hairline, Brazil will become the main brand market in Latin America. Bunge and Santander launch line to expand soya beans production without deforestation in Brazilian Cerrado forest Covering 9 states in the southeastern, midwestern and northeastern regions of Brazil, the Brazilian Cerrado forest will have a financing line of US $ 50 million, with attractive rates varying between 6% and 11% per year, sponsored by Bunge, Santander Brasil and the TNC (The Nature Conservation) organization. The objective is to stimulate the expansion of soya bean production in areas already degraded in the cerrado of Brazil, says the largest global exporter of oilseeds. According  to TNC calculations, the Brazilian Cerrado has more than 25 million hectares of land that has been deforested in the past and which are suitable for the expansion of soya beans. Cell phone operator will use distributed power generation to reduce costs One of the largest cell phone operators in Brazil, Tim, will hire 15 companies that will carry out distributed generation projects in 21 of the 26 states in the country. The program will involve solar farms, small hydroelectric and wind farms, and the use of biomass. Since 2017, about 30% of the energy used by the company today comes from the free market - where large customers can choose suppliers or the generation of small hydropower. "By 2020, 60% of our demand will be met by these options outside the traditional market. This generates savings of up to 18% in the amount disbursed, "said Bruno Gentil, director of corporate resources.
